Property owners, Charles and Connie Wood. “We acquired this property in 1995. Hollis and Lucy Moore were the original owners that built the barn sometime in the mid 1940’s. This Turtle Quilt was made in 1970, by Lou Ester Wood, grandmother of property owner Charles Wood. Lou Ester was 76 years old when she made the quilt and gave it to her grandson.”
